In 2020, CSUITEMUSIC, LLC partnered with the State of California and Governor Gavin Newsom’s LISTOS California campaign to create the impactful film series, What Happens to Us. Produced during the dual crises of the COVID-19 pandemic and devastating California wildfires, the series shines a spotlight on how vulnerable communities prepare for and respond to disasters.

Through compelling storytelling and authentic voices, What Happens to Us underscores the resilience and strength of underserved populations as they navigate emergencies with limited resources. The series was a vital component of the LISTOS California campaign’s mission to ensure all communities—particularly those at higher risk—are informed, prepared, and equipped to face disasters.

Our work on this project reflects our dedication to creating media that educates and empowers, while addressing critical social issues with empathy and urgency.
